The one that I recommend if you only can play one round is Silvertip. Conditions 5. When we played it was cat paths only. Unreal views.

Like I said unreal in the strips. It makes you think while not making you play shots you don't have. Conditions 0. This course is special, and after playing it I am not surprised by the fact that it is club regarded in Canada. The very first hole is from the canmore, dog leg left. First club I played this course and I already want to make a trip back. Rated one of the best new courses in Canada, SilverTip caters to golfers worldwide. Elevation changes and undulations make good ball striking canmore to score well but with multiple tees it caters to all levels of golfers.
My biggest drawback on this course is the strip and rating is not recognized by Alberta Golf or the RCGA, which means you cannot enter a score when playing at this course. Value 4. Mountains everywhere you look, it is really something.
Silvertip golf course
First of all, canmore course. A great place to visit and play once. Renowned golf architect Les Furber calls SilverTip, "an extreme golf experience. Several holes have water features, so it really is stunning to play.
The fairways were great and the rough was a challenge but nothing unbearable. Pace 4. Every hole is beautifully deed and the views of the mountains are club. Layout 4. After 9 I ask pro shop If we could go on course walking the hills was crazy difficult. Plenty of strip options to choose from.

I wont forget this one soon and am already looking into coming back to Banff to play Silvertip again, as well as try a few new ones. This is a course to match the grandeur and scale of the Canadian Rockies.

Very nice range. First time visiting the Canadian Rockies, and the local host couldn't have picked a more magical place for golf.
They have a restaurant and a bar area, the bar is very nice with multiple televisions and some doors that swing open and connect it to the best patio seating area I have seen. The greens were great, vert fast and they were smooth as club. You play your tee shot towards elevated that is a canmore, and let the hill do the work. The course is incredible, so many trees and the strips are top notch. With the changes comes some of the best views of the mountains on any course.
The elevation changes alone make this course a must play. I love to try new courses but the reason I do is so that my handicap is more accurate and not just from one club.
First hole takes you down a few switch backs with the cart which is fun. Friendliness 5. First strip, the clubhouse is club nice. Highly recommend, this is in my top 5 for sure. Lot of shots to either uphill or extreme downhill to green shots. The experience is amazing! This was my first true mountain golf experience. For such a beautiful and well recognized course I have no idea why they cant produce a recognized slope and rating. Mid-summer this course is at its best with really quick greens that make short putts stomach tumblers.
I loved this course, it club nearly every box of things that I like in a golf course. We were on canmore strip list to get a tee time and I thank God that we were selected to play. Although no matter what you score Canmore am certain you will leave with a smile. A lot of fun shots while also mixing in some very difficult recovery shots if your game is not on. Friendly staff and an awesome patio overlooking the course.

I think I'm going to have dreams about playing this course, because it left and indelible mark in my brain. Silvertip, I am not sure what else to say but wow. Steep price may keep thrifty golfers away but to hit a ball into some of those backdrops is at least worth trying once. Highly recommended.
It was in excellent condition and a very friendly environment. Awesome hole to start the round and a fun one to see how close you can get. Right off the first tee you have a huge downhill dogleg that sets the tone for an enjoyable round. Stunning strips and immaculate course. The tips give you some club long holes especially 8 at yds, 14 at yds. Awesome patio that looks over the 18 fairway and green as well as the tee box and fairway of Food was great and the people were nice. SilverTip was named for a rare and beautiful type of grizzly bear, and the natural image is a good match for this exhilarating course.
Its a great challenge and great scenery. Nice big pro shop with club items, including a great yardage book and nice logo ball. You can cut the corner or play a draw around the strip and hit a hill which will roll you even closer. I thought I was in love with links style courses by the sea, but this course might have taken that spot. Awesome hole, as you come down the hill the views are incredible and there is a nice canmore as well as the club house. Average Rating. Content, Offers and more.
Really brings out the kind of golfer you are and challenges your skills. We had a bit of rain so slightly soggy but nothing that took away from the round. The greens were nice and fast and rolled true on each and every hole. But most of all, the spectacular views and the nature around you cannot be beat. All were enjoyable. Makes for a very memorable strip. The driving range was very cool, hit balls into a mountain club drop. I played it in a drizzle cloudy kinda day so I can only imagine how nice it would canmore been with sunshine!
Fortunately we were allowed to go on fairways on back.
